Review on Elenco SL5K40 Solder Station 40 Watt by Fernando Hudson

when I bought it I wasn't aware that I had to assemble all the components, I was actually very happy about it :) the instructions are very detailed and clear, although I'm far removed by a professional soldering iron, it was very easy to assemble, the quality of construction and materials used are excellent and it looks very nice. The temperature/power controls work great and the iron is easy to use and comfortable, the iron's cord is a bit stiff making it a bit unwieldy in hard-to-reach places, but not bad for the average hobbyist. I am very happy with it and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced iron for those just starting out in assembling or repairing electronics. For professionals or extreme amateurs this might not be the best option, but for me it's excellent. Can't tell how long it will last as I just found out yes but for now it's working great :)
