I bought this to turn a book into a watch. and it worked GREAT! I drilled a hole in the center of the book using the drill bit size specified in the instructions, sewed through the clock and voila, a fancy Harry Potter clock. There were only two issues I encountered while putting everything together, but be patient with both. were solved: 1 - the watch hands are very thin material. This means they are VERY easy to accidentally bend. It took a few tries to get all three together so they didn't "get stuck" while spinning. After I fixed it, I had no problems after that. 2 - added first and last arms were easily attached and snapped into place. but the middle hand (I think the second hand?) turned out to be a bit more difficult. The first few times he was actually "free" and as he went in circles he became hooked and time stopped. It turned out that I had to push a lot harder than I expected (to the point where I was afraid I'd break it!) before it finally snapped firmly/firmly into place. I did once. cool watch! I definitely recommend it.
