I will say that I appreciate the reduction of plastic and the compactness of this product. our other detergents and makes our clothes as soft as others. So the real benefit for me is the space saving, everything else is basically the same. And I didn't search and didn't have to save space. That's good, we can always use a few inches more storage space, but that's not a priority. So what remains is the reduction of plastic consumption and the environment. Here's my final analysis: It costs about twice as much as most of our other well-known laundry detergent brands. For example, Tide costs $9.49 for a 92 fl oz bag that cleans 64 loads of full-size laundry (https://www.amazon.com/Tide-Laundry-Detergent-Liquid-Original/dp/B085V5PPP8) or $0.1482 $ each download. This product costs about the same $9.95 for a box that clears 32 downloads, or $0.31 per download. The sales information says "Up to 64 downloads" but that applies if you're downloading XS (very small) downloads. The same applies to Tide in the example above; If you've done small charges, you can get 128 charges or twice as many charges. The "Up to 64 downloads" claim for this product is a little misleading. Bottom Line: While it costs more than twice as much as liquids in plastic, we're only talking about $0.16 per download. We're a family of 2 and do about 3 loads a week so we're looking at $0.48 a week or half a dollar a week max and save some storage for $0.50 a week, that's a good business. If you have a big family, you wash more than we do, and you really need to keep an eye on your finances (we're retired and finances aren't an issue for us). I would say that your liquid of choice might be better for you.
