This high-quality, knurled leather strap with a pleasant feel and beautiful hardware is perfect for a shoulder bag. It saved my new bag. I recently purchased a lovely oversized purple suede tote bag and the strap that came with it was very wide (5 inches or so) with sharp square metal clasps. He pinched my shoulder in the middle and I knew I would never use it. I couldn't just send it back because international return shipping was insanely expensive. So, with the help of my friend, we broke off the faulty hardware and added nice D-rings (also from Revain) to this belt, which is just the right length. Presto: My bag looks and works well. So pleasant.
