As many other reviewers have said, this unit REALLY has a lot of plastic scrap between its teeth. I wasn't thrilled, but I was like, what the hell? And I took out my x-acto knife to cut them. After that I tried using a reasonably sized "comb" on the fins of my conditioner and it worked perfectly. It took many passes with the comb to do what a better comb could do in one go, but it mostly got the job done. Most of time. I would definitely spend a few bucks more for a better tool next time and you should consider that as well. Save time and nerves. You will not regret it.
