I ordered this Satanic Temple Goat Head Necklace/Pendant from BTNBTGB because I have purchased several pendants from Best Buy Vine over the past year or so and I like to have a wide variety of pendants to choose from. I really like this pendant, although the larger ones are a bit garish for my taste. In this case I think it's a plus. My girlfriend and I both agree that personalized jewelry is at its best when it's a bit discreet. She doesn't like earrings or pendants that are too big, and I agree. From an aesthetic point of view, I believe that large jewelry can draw too much attention and overload the look. Rather, I prefer jewelry that doesn't immediately catch the eye of a companion or circle of friends and that doesn't "hit you in the head" with a pronounced presence. In other words, I generally think the smaller pieces are the prettiest. However, I understand that the person who will be wearing the "Stainless Steel Baphomet Pendant" described as "Gothic Punk Satanic Jewelry, Gothic Witch" is probably not like that. I strive for the most sophisticated look and I understand that a stronger effect is what most people who are going to wear this pendant want. In other words, if you really want this pendant, you'll probably appreciate that it comes in an unusually large size. Incidentally, according to Wikipedia, Baphomet is "a deity supposedly worshiped by the Knights Templar, who later became part of various occult and mystical traditions. The name Baphomet appeared in the transcripts of the processes of the Inquisition of the Knights Templar from 1307. Thus, the symbol of the pentagram on the head of a goat has a rather rich history. This pendant is big, bold and perfect when you want your pendant to get a lot of attention. It definitely caught my attention on the product page and is one of the reasons I ordered it. The sturdy chain is approximately 26 inches long and, like the pendant, is quite heavy. I really like this pendant and plan to wear it often. My rating is a solid five stars or a hundred pentagons.
