When I ran out of plain micellar water I wanted to try something new and it got a high rating on Beautypedia. After using it for 1 week I came to the conclusion that in my opinion this is more of a makeup remover than a cleanser. I use Neutrogena Liquid Makeup Remover for my eye makeup and it looks like this. I used to use Simple Micellar Water after cleansing with Clarisonic Cleanser and Origins Checks and Balances. It was more of a simple matter of removing makeup residue that the previous steps hadn't removed. Afterward, my skin was hydrated and clear, but not crystal clear, and ready for my skincare routine. When I use L'Oreal's micellar water in the same way, it leaves a greasy film on my skin that doesn't fade. I have to wipe off the excess with a facial tissue and then apply a skin care product, which isn't a big deal, but it's not as moisturizing as Simple. I will continue to use and finish it, but will not repurchase.
