I bought the wrong size, but that doesn't matter. They lie on the floor and my cats (3) love them.

I bought these pads to replace a scratching post. They weren't long enough, but that didn't bother my 3 furries. you love her So they both have one, and they sit on it, curled up, and scratch it. It's like they have a cardboard cat bed.
