Huge price difference between branded product and "generic". The biggest difference between the original and generic is in the bag sealing mechanism, where it connects to the machine's dust collector. The regular bag uses a cardboard retaining ring and clasp, while the genuine Miele bag uses plastic. From a practical point of view, I will buy the generic again because the universal replacement version is inexpensive after overcoming the missing plastic locking ring. Both work in the same way and the quality of the bag just seems good. Nothing to fault. Big difference in cost. It's good!
