The potentiometer controlling the volume on this amp became stuck after a few weeks. Thankfully, it gets stuck in the midrange, but that's pretty annoying. Using pliers and pulling I can still adjust the volume, but for a device as simple as this I would expect the components to work if I paid $15. I took it apart to try and diagnose the problem and the solder joints are really badly done. Overall it does the job I bought it for (driving a small center channel speaker from my PC's built-in audio), but I'm disappointed with the quick failure. the only moving part.
