Review on Doubletake Mirror Indestructible Motorcycle Mirrors by Dave Baker

I just added them to my 2009 BMW R1200GS. What a great addition, much better than the standard mirrors. They are so easy to adjust, fold up quickly for off-road riding and are very durable. I should have followed Doubletake's advice and opted for the Adventure model, which has a larger field of view for riding on the road in traffic, but I will be purchasing that set of mirrors separately. When I tried to install the BMW adapters, I damaged the threads and the adapters were unusable. I emailed Doubletake to explain what happened and asked about an adapter change. I received an email response almost immediately (it was New Year's Eve) and the rep said the new adapters and RAM mounts would be shipping on January 2nd. I offered to buy parts because they were damaged through my fault but they sent replacements for free. Great experience with this company and a quality product. Now I will put them on all my bikes.
