Have not practiced two sports on my bike.

Pros: The mirrors are very adjustable and give you a good rear view. Cons: They just don't stay put on a dual-sport bike. I really wanted them to work out but they cost too much to deal with constant adjustments. The ball that attaches to the handlebars collapses as you increase the tension, causing the mirror to constantly sag and move as you ride.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

At least they fold up and can't be broken

These mirrors have two small drawbacks. They're expensive, but they're guaranteed against breakage of plastic parts (real mirrors can be substituted). And don't expect the mirror vibration to go away when you have a single-cylinder dual-sport forward. But they are at least as good or even better than the stock mirrors on my Yamaha TW200. They stay in place when you unscrew the RAM bracket.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Good but not great

You might think it's a little pricey (I did at first) but incredibly easy to install - said on my 1999 Yamaha TTR 250 in about 10 minutes. Great for trail riding, making sure the people you're riding with are right behind you or someone needs to pass - the view out of the glass is bigger than expected - I actually shared the set with a mate because I wants to drive off-road The left mirror is really all you need so that helped with the price - if you only need one sell the other one as new - no

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

A threaded hole with a diameter of 10 mm is required for attachment.

So far the mirrors have worked very well. I haven't had a chance to test their indestructibility yet, so I can't comment on this feature. Therefore, I rate the durability as average. I replace original BMW mirrors that broke when I dropped my bike at low speed. Since these mirrors can move on impact I don't think they will break. The 8mm bushings had to be drilled and cut to fit the 10mm bushings. Threaded part of the base of the mirror. Extra 8mm. Bases would be nice if you didn't have the…

Crash Resistant - Mirrors & Accessories

They were perfect for a 1990 Suzuki DR350 that my son recently moved into. I found them a bit expensive, three times more expensive than "standard" mirrors. Then, in the first few hours of riding, he crashed his bike twice, and both times the mirrors went aside without causing any damage. You almost paid the price difference. When driving on the road, they are stable and can see what's behind you relatively well. The stepless adjustment is also good. In fact, they can be in any position. In my…

What you need

If you're looking for them, you should already know what they are. When riding off-road, rear-view mirrors should be on your bike. I would say they are a little overpriced, I have a used set but count when it costs about $15 for new original mirrors every time you drop your bike. I have a rally CRF250L and Honda must have designed the mirrors to cushion the bike if it falls. Just twist them with them to loosen a little, reset, then twist and tighten and you're done, no big deal. I encountered…

Pros
  • DOT specification glass, shatterproof body.
Cons
  • flimsy

Excellent product and even better customer service!

I just added them to my 2009 BMW R1200GS. What a great addition, much better than the standard mirrors. They are so easy to adjust, fold up quickly for off-road riding and are very durable. I should have followed Doubletake's advice and opted for the Adventure model, which has a larger field of view for riding on the road in traffic, but I will be purchasing that set of mirrors separately. When I tried to install the BMW adapters, I damaged the threads and the adapters were unusable. I emailed…

Pros
  • Made in USA.
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Good mirrors but maybe too expensive

I bought these and installed them on my Royal Enfield Himalayan. All necessary adapters were included. Installation was as simple as unscrewing my old mirrors, choosing the right adapter, and screwing in the new ball joints. From there, attach the plunger arm and line up the mirror. These mirrors look good on a bike. You look like you're ready for an adventure. When driving, they are rock solid. No vibration up to 6,000 rpm. Since they use RAM mounts and hardware, the customization is…

Pros
  • The enduro mirror offers a great combination of features when deployed and low profile when folded.
Cons
  • No Instructions

The view is more than what you expect. Super easy to install and set up.

The Double Take Mirrors seems to be recommended by everyone I agree with the great reviews I choose round mirrors for my Suzuki DRZ400S and I really like them. The included adapters fit right into the stock brackets that are built into the clutch and brake handlebar clamps. Super adjustable and durable. The best part is the rear view is a lot bigger than I expected. I can't keep up compare to the standard mirrors as my bike didn't come with them but I suspect the double take round mirrors are…

  • Includes two enduro mirrors, two 3" RAM arms, two ball stud sockets (10 x 1.25mm thread), two extension adapters (10 x 1.25mm), two Beemer adapters (10 x 1.5mm ) and a reverse thread adapter (10mm x 1.25)
Cons
  • So-so
