Ideal for deaf clients who need a voice captioning system.

I am deaf, lost my hearing due to a head injury a few years ago. Communication was a problem, so I found an Android app that works great with translating speech to text using my phone's microphone. It also supports external devices such as Bluetooth microphones. I was looking for a microphone that would work with my phone and a voice to text program. Nolan LiveMIC2 works like a dream. Easy to connect, speech-to-text translation is near perfect depending on how the person using the mic is speaking. This works better than communicating with a whiteboard and markers. I give my doctors, therapists, teachers a mic to tune them in, and then I can use my phone to keep track of what's going on, sort of a live closed captioning system for those who don't know ASL (American Sign Language). I don't know if it works on all phones, it works fine on mine. The mic is lightweight and also features a clip-on lavalier mic, an omnidirectional condenser mic that connects to the Nolan LiveMIC2 for even better voice dictation. The Nolan can then be slipped into a pocket, attached to a belt, inner pocket or brace. In addition, the Nolan mic has multiple built-in mics, one on top for direct speaker pickup and one front mic for omnidirectional pickup. I've found that when a microphone isn't working properly, switching microphones usually solves the problem. I recommend this product. I'm sure there are many uses for the mic, but for what I use it for, it's perfect.
