Hello Ravenian, just reading this. They are ideal for many purposes. First, LED and fluorescent lights don't provide the key energy frequencies that help our eyes. My broadcast studio is full of LED and neon lights while on Twitch. This light is hanging off-camera over my desk, and it's not the brightness, it's the use of a filament that glows and gives off an energy that digital lights don't have. At least as far as I know. I might be wrong. I find that my eyes get tired after broadcasting if I don't use it. And don't feel tired when using it. Whatever that means. I can recommend her unreservedly. Both worked as expected. Use one at this point.
