The product description is as accurate as ever, the instructions for putting it on are very simple (you can reuse the material that comes with it) and it stays on for as long as I want but it is much rougher than regular printer paper. I use the regular Apple Pencil on my tablet to draw and take notes and it's like sandpaper. For reference, I had the first one for five months and my old pencil started scratching the metal tip after about two months (I don't use it all the time). A month ago I threw away the original and used a new one as a mini pencil change party and the tip is already showing metal and making scratching noises (I use it a lot more than I did then). And I'm not very despotic. So yeah this product is great and maybe it's my fault for expecting it to be anything less than obnoxious to my pencil tips but the advertising really leads me to believe it can be used for drawing. So be careful why you are receiving this item.
