Review on Enhanced Protection: OtterBox DEFENDER SERIES Case 📱 for Samsung Galaxy S9+ - Convenient Packaging - BLACK by Tom Motko

The new Defender for my Samsung S9 Plus feels great in the hand, looks solid and durable. Revain's price is very good compared to the big store I bought my phone from. The button function is very good, if stiff, but I have to say that the Incipio case I bought with my phone has a nicer button function. Smoother and less effort to drive. The Incipio isn't as reliable as the Otter Box, but it will be fine for an office environment. My first experience with an Otter Box product was with an iPhone 4S. This case started to come loose on the phone and the power cord connector plug completely detached (it didn't stay closed either). I called the manufacturer but they turned me down because the warranty had just ended. But I was offered to sell a new one. Thanks but no. The Defender box looks good so I figured why not try them again. The price is definitely right for a previous generation phone. So far I like this case and what looks like good protection. If it holds up as well as my I-Blason case (bought here from Revain for my iPhone 7 plus almost three years ago) then I'll be more than happy. The I-Blason case is different than the one I currently have, otherwise I would have bought it instead of the Otter Box. At the moment I don't see any flaws in this case. I've given it lower marks for durability based on my previous experience with the brand, but I'll up or down the rating if I have reason to. I hope this one lasts longer than the first. UPDATE 05/02/19 The case has loosened a bit on the plastic frame and tends to "creak" when touched as the two piece plastic frame moves in the now loosened rubber cover. The noise and the haptics are annoying in the hand. I downgraded my rating to "2" and will update it in the future. At this point I may order another brand to get rid of the crunchy and noisy feeling. Stay with us. CURRENT update from 07/05/19: When sending it back, the plastic inner frame creaks so much that it's too annoying. In addition, the rubber boot is loosened so much that it constantly jumps out of the groove. This is similar to the rubber case on my old iPhone. Incredibly poor quality considering the price.
