A fast and affordable NAND SSD module to replace the anemic Crucial MX300 module that Glyph uses in its external Atom SSD.

I have this 1TB SSD module to replace the terribly slow performance module that Glyph has in its Atom (Glyph Atom Grey, 275GB SSD, USB-C (3.1 Gen 2), USB 3.0, Thunderbolt 3 compatible) external SSD. I soon found that my new Atom needed a much faster, higher capacity module. Luckily, I found an "open box" offer I just couldn't refuse. This 1TB WD module has everything the Crucial MX300 module doesn't have. The CrystalDiskMark benchmark puts sequential reads at 568.8 and writes at 557.3. That's what I'm talking about! To Glyph's credit, replacing the Atom's anemic Crucial module was easy and the WD module booted with no issues. With a long history of Western Digital hard drives, I really expect that this 1TB module will solve my storage problems for years to come.
