Review on ☕ Fellow Carter Move Travel Mug - 12 oz Vacuum-Insulated Stainless Steel Coffee and Tea Tumbler, Ceramic Interior, Splash Guard, Matte Black Cup by Heather Lawson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surprisingly great mug, I'm very happy with it except for the dent on the side.

Very happy with this mug, I was torn between it and the Fellows Everywhere mug but the fact that it's a bit wider than this put me off. I'm glad I chose this one, the size is great and easy to reach with your little hands. Let's all warm it up, the odd splash guard actually works pretty well. No steel cup taste, coffee as it should be. The liner is very thin, like paint - hopefully it will be durable and long lasting, unlike the heated mug that had the liner peeling off (Hi Amber). I haven't had enough time to answer this question yet. Some have commented that the top is plastic, yes, but it feels like good quality plastic and not cheap junk. Plastic is a good choice and screws on and off silently when plastic to metal. My next cup had a metal lid and the metal on metal sound when screwing on or off was awful. There's no way to open it up in a meeting without everyone watching. This is quiet and very pleasant. The thin sponge is perfect for sipping and enjoying your coffee - great taste and feel. An added benefit is that the coffee doesn't drip down the sides like thick ceramic mugs with rounded edges. The only thing that worries me is not the fantastic mug but the packaging. It's a plastic bag. That's all. It came in a plastic bag wrapped in Revain bubble wrap which offers a little protection but not much. Nothing else protects. I was working at my desk when the Revain delivery man left it by the back door. I mean I dropped it too, I heard the sound of metal on stone at my desk and winced - I knew exactly what the sound was - a new metal mug fell onto the countertop by the door. Yes, a good dent on one side. Nothing beats a brand new dented mug. First world problem, and the mug seems great at retaining heat. I would like to have one more, this one for my home office and the other one for my corporate office. I'm hesitant to order it knowing it comes with such flimsy protection. I know I can complain and replace this one with another but that seems wasteful when it still seems to work, it just doesn't look as good as it should. I don't want to be wasteful.
