I had another travel jar that kept my coffee/tea hot for hours but it had a plastic lid which I felt enhanced the flavor of my drinks. I need something that will keep my drinks hot for hours because sometimes I don't get around to having a drink until midday when I'm swamped with work. It definitely helps. I got to work at 8am and opened my coffee at 12:30 and found it hot. It also looks pretty slick and is a pleasure to hold and drink from. 10/10 I would recommend and buy again.

The 12 ounce size fits my 21 Crosstrek and if you have that machine you know how difficult it is to find the right cup... it fits 12 ounces right over the splash guard (strainer thing) after brewing 12oz with my Keurig and adding some sugar/cream... not bad a few sips took it away. Bought two of these mugs. There were issues with the metallic taste seeping into my coffee with other travel mugs since the interior was lined with stainless steel. The interior of this Carter Move is clad in ceramic. So I decided to try this Carter Move mug hoping to get the best consistent coffee flavor. Possibly I'm not sure if this is the PERFECT coffee mug but it comes close. The coffee stays hot, but the thermos is not hot. I love the splash guard and it really stops hot coffee from sloshing right into your mouth. The ceramic interior is pleasant to the touch, although my coffee doesn't stand for hours, so I never noticed the metallic aftertaste. The cup looks great. Aesthetics = A+. The main reason I bought this mug is for the travel mug which wasn't plastic or stainless steel (the coffee tastes weird). I needed an unbreakable cup so I could take it with me when I wanted to build my bike. I bought this mug because I wanted to drink a little better compared to Zojirushi and it definitely achieved that thanks to the wide mouth. The mug JUST fits in the cup holders in the car and the splash guard definitely prevented the coffee from spilling until I opened the mug lid in the car. Very happy with this mug, I was torn between it and the Fellows Everywhere mug but the fact that it's a bit wider than this put me off. I'm glad I chose this one, the size is great and easy to reach with your little hands. Let's all warm it up, the odd splash guard actually works pretty well.
