I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.
I used the lens for three years, it proved to be super reliable. Fell in the mud, filmed in the snow and rain. The main drawback for me was the lack of sharpness wide open. I struggled with the obvious, but eventually I changed this lens to 35/2 is and realized that I changed 50/1.2 for a reason. I've had every Canon 50mm lens except f/1.0 and I can say with absolute certainty that Canon makes the worst "originals" of any modern camera maker.
- Excellent design, reliability, large relative aperture, protection against dust and moisture.
- Weight, lack of sharpness until a sufficiently strong aperture cover, shift focus.
