I think it should be closer to $12 than $25 for plastic, but it's a mature plastic. Compared to a simple piece of pipe bolted to the wall or a mast plate mount, this mount is great. Comes with an optional suction cup, but if you have one, you can screw the base to the wall. Then it has independent vertical and horizontal adjustment points and is solid. It's quite expensive for a bit of plastic, but if you're mounting the antenna in a location where looks are important OR if you need to fine-tune the vertical angle rather than just turning a pole, it's better than a McGivever something up .
