I had about hmm. 8 or 9 such Wansview cameras. Different types. I liked non-cloud solutions, but last time I tried cloud and hated it. It wouldn't stay connected to my wifi, setup was a mess and I hated this app. I returned this for another non-cloud, glad I gave them another chance! They listened to the feedback because I had 8 or 9, this setup was the fastest! I was up and running in about 5 minutes from start to finish. The longest part of it was just checking my email, actually setting up the phone from the flashing lights to the connecting message was very quick. The picture is excellent and the camera itself seems solid and solidly made. I'd recommend trying again if you're ambivalent about cloud cameras like me, but I've found these cameras to fail more often. I usually store my files on my desktop hard drive, but it's nice to have a cloud option that I'll try soon if I can fix the always connected issue. I'll probably keep a few more as I replace the oldest cameras. * I was wrong. Every time I open the app on my phone it connects flawlessly and the quality is great. Extremely clear. It's a desktop app that has connection issues while cloud recording might work fine. You just need a solution for 24/7 monitoring, maybe somehow connecting via ethernet (another floor).
