As I got older I switched from 20/20 vision to over-the-counter reading glasses to prescription reading glasses to bifocals with prescription like near and distance vision with progressive lenses with prescription. During this protracted pandemic, I've spent far more time on the computer than before, and my eyes are often tired and strained, although my most recent eye exam stayed the same. I decided to try these blue light blocking bifocal reading glasses to see if they would help with eye strain. To my astonishment, the bifocal lenses of these glasses allow me to see both near and far better than with my very expensive varifocals. The upper part of these glasses, transparent, doesn't help me at all. However, the bifocal portion amazed me with the clarity of what I could see at any distance. I am very happy to be able to go back to standard reading glasses and save a fortune. I will wear these bifocals while sitting at the computer as the head doesn't tilt much from the keyboard to the monitor and the bifocal part is great for that. I will buy non-bifocal reading glasses for everyday use. This bifocal set is very light and comfortable with spring loops. They come with a very nice zip case which is tough on the outside but has a nice soft layer of fabric on the inside. There was also a cleaning cloth in the bag. The glasses look very nice and I think they are excellent value for the list price of $19.99.
