For me, the biggest advantage of a laser printer is that the toner is a dry powder. and because each color is a separate toner, I don't have to replace the tri-color cartridge when one color runs out. I've made a few color prints and it's good enough. I mostly print in black and white, in fact my previous inkjet printer had been sitting for over a year with an empty color cartridge. finally decided it was time to go get it. I connected it to my home network and it works great. I haven't connected it to my wireless network yet, which would allow me to place it anywhere in the house. I just had no reason to. It works great. it's slow But when I print in black and white from my laptop (ie wirelessly) to the printer and print less than 12 pages, the last page knocks out when I get there. It's slow to feed the paper, but the start time from nothing to paper movement is pretty quick. All in all, for a printer that costs so much, and a laser printer to boot, why complain? He does his job and he does it well. I also bought the 256MB Kingston memory card mentioned in another review. I went with no problems and the printer sees 384MB.
