This camera system was very easy to install and took less than an hour. After watching a helpful video on YouTube, I opened up the tail light cover and connected it to the ground and positive wires that went to the reverse light. The attached picture shows the connection. Then I mounted the monitor on the rearview mirror. The clip on the monitor provides a crisp, high-definition image when I back up. With my back to the sun, the background image is difficult to see, but I think that goes for any camera system. I wish the fasteners were stronger. After three days of use, the monitor clamps lost some of their rigidity and the mounting rubbers pulled the L-shaped plastic holders out of their sockets as shown in the photo. This issue allows the monitor to move and dangle from my rear view mirror. Perhaps a better solution would be if the "L" brackets were metal. I used small cable ties to attach the monitor more securely. I gave an overall rating of 4 due to an issue with the clip attachment system. The price is very reasonable for what is on offer.
