Review on BAMFOX Floating Wall Shelf Set of 2: Natural Bamboo Decor Storage for Various Spaces by Michelle Linares

Let me start by saying that this is a beautiful shelf. The color and width match the photos and as it stands the installation mechanism looks promising. Installing this shelf was like an emotional rollercoaster ride and a mental exercise at the same time. Of course, I'm not the most skilled person, but I bet even a skilled craftsman will have trouble installing it. Anchor included in this set. Poorly. I used my own anchors and nails for this. The instructions are unclear; It would be helpful if there was a step by step guide on how to measure the distances between two rack docks so you don't have to drill 5 holes in the wall. I could practically hear the devilish cackle from below as I drilled everything into place for the third time, only to find, trying to get the shelf back into place, I was a full 1mm off (again), and that was why i had to do it. everything again. When I finally managed to install 1 of the 2 shelves it didn't seem strong enough to support more than 2 pounds. I was going to put a few cups on it but I'm afraid that one wrong move and they could all break. I ended up ordering additional hardware to reinforce this shelf as it wobbles on its own. I would only recommend this shelf if: 1) there were clearer step-by-step installation instructions and tips, 2) better anchors and shorter nails, and 3) additional hardware (like L-brackets) to strengthen the shelf.
