Review on Experience the Ultimate Performance with Saucony Freedom ISO Olive Shade Men's Athletic Shoes by Tim Morrison

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great low running shoe with stability and cushioning that greatly improved my speed.

I used to run Brooks PureFlow and it was discontinued - I switched to Brooks PureCadence and it was discontinued - and Brooks didn't introduce a replacement model. I run half marathons and full marathons - I have severe flat feet with pronation. I wanted stability, cushioning and a low drop (4mm). As a result of this search I came across the Saucony Liberty and I'm so glad I found her - I've never been happier. The Liberty are a little on the small side - I'll have to buy a size up - but they are very comfortable, have great stability without the weight and a perfect 4mm drop. You won't believe what I experienced next - they really made me run faster than any other shoe I've used before. I cut my personal best times by 46 minutes for the entire marathon (5:05:00 to 4:19:00) and by almost 19 minutes for the half marathon (2:10:00 to 1:51:00) along the way. . Preparation routine (advanced Hanson level). I attribute that absolutely to the shoes as well as to the training. These are fantastic shoes and I'm wearing the fourth pair - I didn't rate it a 5 as I think they could make the sole more durable - it lasts 250-300 miles; I wish it was closer to 350-400 miles per pair. (I've ridden about 1500 miles in the last 12 months - switched to Saucony Liberty last August)

Pros
  • perfect son
Cons
  • Shoes may not provide adequate support for lateral movement.
