I know this should be obvious, but note the arrows on the battery compartment (should be pointing to the LEDs). I managed to charge all the batteries without realizing it and it didn't work at first. Then. Wow. It's a lot better than the little one we bought a few years ago. He showed *nothing*. With that I was horrified until I realized that there was more than just urine on display. Joint sealant blooms with UV exposure and will not wash off tiles with a sponge (impressive sealant). I've also tried an enzymatic cleaner, but all of the solution comes out in the light, as does the putty around the wood paneling. Carpet is disgusting. Decades of stains that don't seem to be completely removed even with professional cleaning. However, the new stains are much lighter, but that is the difference between urine stains and food/soil stains. It helps, but I just wanted to go.
