Review on Double Din Dash Install Kit with Wiring Harness for Dodge Ram 2006-2010 - Black Radio Stereo by Jay Maryland

I've installed more than 6 radios, I'm not an expert but I know a bit. This setup was the worst I have ever tried because of this kit. Due to the long hospital stay I missed the return window which influenced some decisions. I crimped all the wires together and cut out the small center bar on the console panel as indicated. Before I put the panel back into the dash, I wanted to make sure the radio was on. It's not like this. It turned out that even though a connector was included and my car's wiring harness didn't physically match the wires delivering power, it wasn't really aligned so the radio wasn't getting power. Since I couldn't return the item and now don't have a radio I would go to the store and buy an adapter and just finish the dash/radio part. I tried adding a bezel but had trouble getting it to fit unless I slightly shaved off one of the sides. I should have stopped here. Knowing I had enough room due to the width of the bezel, I shaved off one of the sides. I pressed the plate together and screwed it on. I thought the radio didn't work but I can return the dash and drive to the store. I screwed the radio into the car and tried reinstalling the dashboard. Can you guess that the radio doesn't match the trim? Expect the left and right alignment to be broken because I cropped one side, but unfortunately the top and bottom alignment, which I didn't crop, doesn't match up. The radio is located above the position on the dashboard. This installation is a dam nightmare. Everything was wrong, nothing fits and does not work. Now my dash is damaged, which wouldn't be noticeable with a working conversion kit, but looks absolute crap with the factory radio installed. I absolutely regret buying this product.
