. Many functions require the purchase of additional adapters. It doesn't have Apple Car Play without buying a $69 adapter that rivals any Android stereo. Doesn't have the ability to send video to additional monitors like the back of the headrest for your kids to watch from the back seat. If you add up all the extras you can buy the Pioneer or Kenwood which have these features and better sound quality. My touchscreen feels like it's going to come loose in the top left corner in less than a week.

This is a really good set. BUT no instructions. I've worked with cars my whole life so I pretty much knew what I needed to do, but if he had instructions on where to put the side brackets for the trucks they're made for, life would be MUCH easier. There are holes all over the side of the main unit and holes/slots on the side brackets, so it's a guessing game as to where to start. Trimming the stock frame was easy. Dremel handled the wheel quickly. My disappointment is with the clips on the product. The OEM frame was too thick to attach the clip. I had to carefully remove a few millimeters of the inside of the clip. While this adds the required space, it also reduces the overall length. Although it worked, I'm happy. I could easily lose too much weight. BTW, I think a single pager for the mounts would be a nice touch.

There are no instructions or templates for cutting. Just an intuitive setup. Turns out I only needed one plug since I bought a large head unit, but I still didn't like the look of the overhead ring.
