I really like this setup! This is a quality machine that comes with 2 large paddle bins. The 72 ounce Total Crushing Square Pitcher uses 3 tiers of stacked blades to quickly crush just about anything, including ice cubes and frozen fruit/vegetables. It has a maximum capacity of 64 ounces and FAST conjures up a large batch of frozen drinks. The round pitcher is slightly smaller at 40 ounces and can handle food. Controls are simple with various preset options that turn the mixer on and off to get the best results. There is also a "Pulse" button. I just love the 18 ounce smoothie cup which has its own base with blades AND a lid that goes in place of the base with a fold out wide spout for drinking. The last 3 photos show it in action. It didn't take long for me to finish. I used fresh halved and peeled strawberries and 1/3 frozen blueberries with FF Half and Half. Presto, and let me tell you, cleaning was very easy too, just a good rinse. This whole system has parts that can be washed in a dishwasher. Of course, the parts are BPA-free. The jars are thick and very well made to lock into the base of the blender with a simple twist. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS are well marked as the blades are razor sharp. So don't remove the lid and pour out the contents (there are closed necks) without first removing the neatly folded blades. The natural reaction is to try to catch the falling object - these blades will cause you serious harm, please don't neglect safety! I know that from my own expirience! They are not attached to the base in the two large pitchers; they do at less than 18 ounces. One. There are also good instructions, a recipe book and a dough mixing insert (not sharp). One great thing I saw was loosening the 4 rubber feet that "stick" to the vacuum, there are built in hand places on the sides below that when lifted automatically break the vacuum of the base's 4 feet!
