I'm a lawyer. I refuse to attend a jury trial in person with only a cloth/paper mask. It is not safe and I will not rely on public opinion on COVID. I don't need your germs and I don't care what you think about it. If something needs to be done in person and for some reason I can't put on a 3M cartridge respirator, I put on Covidisor - think Sandy Cheeks' plastic cap. People can hear me talking, but I can't hear anything through this plastic dome. If I wear a plastic dome, I have to hear through the plastic dome. I bought the Bluetooth headphones and figured I would pair the headphones to my phone and use the Sound Amplifier app to hear people talking around me. This is not good; The latency is terrible and the phone only picks up sounds *right* next to it. I've bought and returned various products to Revain over the past few weeks - nothing connects to my phone, not even microphones which claim to be for Android devices. Even if I connect separate Bluetooth transmitters to the microphones. I was very anxious to find a working solution. Now I'm sending back the last other microphone and transmitter. You are not working. It does. I don't need to use the Voice Amplifier app or any other app with this one. The LiveMIC2 Bluetooth microphone connects directly to the FLAME2 Bluetooth sports headphones. I experimented this morning. The mic picks up my baby's babble clearly from across the room and transmits it so quickly that there is no obvious echo/lag right away. I'm sure I can use this to speak to the jury and hear the judge (etc) clearly under my plastic COVID dome. Since it plugs right into the headphones, I don't have to worry about bringing my phone and an external power supply for my phone. I'll update this if this turns out not to work properly for some reason - e.g. if for some reason it can't signal through the plastic dome or if battery life is an issue - but for now I've tried and failed, I've experienced enough other failed products to be very happy with this one. It connects easily. Picks up sound at a suitable distance. He transmits quickly. The sound quality from across the room is enough to understand which is all I need from it. 5/7 perfect.
