This is a sophisticated all-in-one company in a home office shell. In addition to the usual functions (printing, scanning, faxing), it has high-tech functions such as scan to email and SNMP management. It works for me in a mixed environment (Mac, Windows 7 and 10 PC) and works flawlessly. Setup is easy with the web interface, just connect it with a network cable and find the assigned IP address. As with all printers, I recommend setting either a static IP address or a DHCP reservation. As a previous reviewer pointed out, the most annoying thing about this printer is the status page, which prints automatically every time the printer comes online. simple solution (see previous review); Go to "Properties" -> "System" -> "Settings" and uncheck "Print status report on startup" below. (The default username is admin, the default password is 1111). You should also update the firmware (obtained from the Xerox website and updated through the web interface). I didn't encounter the Windows 7 printing errors mentioned by other reviewers. I had no problems. Even printouts from our iPhones with AirPrint. Again, get the latest drivers from the Xerox website - the CD that came with it is 4 years old. This printer originally cost over $300. It's a $200 deal and a $100 bargain.
