Why, why didn't I buy the whole set? I just love these watercolors. This gives you control of the project when you need fine detail, while still allowing you to create the wide spread of color that traditional watercolors are known for when using a water pen or brush. However, you may need to create a color chart. As the colors are shown on the plastic, they can be misleading. I've attached a picture of how I marked mine with a hole punch and a dash of shiny accents to secure it in place. I simply drew a pattern on watercolor paper, ran a water pen over it to blend the paint, and after it dried punched it through with a standard hole punch. The top has the perfect recess for this. Now I always know what color it is and how to combine it. These pens are ideal for watercolor paper prints now available for adults to color in or create postcards with very fine detail.
