I'm new to juicing and am only interested in juicing because I'm tired of hearing a close friend brag about how good he feels . I bought this juicer because I read the description and saw the progress made between this version and the older version. It seems that the manufacturer really pays attention to the feedback from people who bought the first version of this product. First off, I have to say that juicing has been a surprisingly fun activity so far. I got creative and started mixing veggies and fruits and trying different recipes I found online. I even toyed with the idea of growing wheatgrass at home to replace my afternoon coffee with fresh wheatgrass juice. The juicer is well built and strictly enjoyable. Goes well with my kitchen decoration. Reversing function, droplet separator and large auger seem to be very good. Although I don't have any other juicer and have no comparison. The only things that don't go well with this juice are small cherry tomatoes, raspberries, blackberries, and I'm guessing any fruit with small pits. The amount of juice is questionable and I would like a little more of it. It's hard to rate this product because I could just buy dried vegetables and I don't know how to choose them in the store. The waste feels slightly damp and sticky. I expect the grind to be drier. This tells me that more juice can probably be extracted. I think if the engine speed was variable (or variable) with a fast/slow setting or fully variable it would be better. I might slow down the spin if I feel like I should be getting more juice and the grind just squirts out. It feels like the car was built to go as far as possible in the shortest amount of time. That's not my slow chew idea. The cleaning isn't that bad. I'm not sure which parts are dishwasher safe, so for now I'm hand washing each part.
