Review on πŸš™ ATP Z 270 Automotive Transmission Flex Plate by Leo Fairchild

Revainrating 5 out of 5

That's why they call it the FLEX disk

Error loading media. First the installation - the spacer is used on short crankshaft ls engines, which were almost all before 2000. This is perfect for my 2003 lq4 6.0 with 4l80e. I didn't need a spacer as the old spacer was still on the crankshaft. If your grip had a spacer, use the old one or put this on. This gasket will not somehow couple this torque converter flex plate to any other bolt pattern like th350 and give it 1 star for not reading or researching the description, irresponsible and the reason there must be a competitive option in Revain reviews. In this case, the flexible plates bend. If you can take a round, flat piece of steel, weld a ring onto it, and keep it perfectly aligned, I'd like to see that. Bolting to the torque converter absorbs most of the vibration, and the torque converter contains most of the rotating mass anyway. Even brand new engines have flexplate outer ring vibration. If you have wobble, which affects structure better, you'll have bigger problems than a flex plate.
