Bolt holes misaligned with torque converter

It looked like it was well done but be aware that you need to check the alignment of the torque converter bolt holes with the flywheel, I had to lengthen the holes to accommodate the Being able to install bolts, which took about an hour's work, not to mention not everyone has a grinder capable of properly repairing the holes without removing the gearbox. Hopefully this isn't a current issue, it's a serial converter

  • Satisfied so far

The spacer on the flywheel has the wrong radius

The spacer I received on the flywheel was machined to the wrong radius and would not fit on the torque converter or crankshaft without a hammer. This problem would make the installation impossible. Luckily I had previously installed a 400 turbo engine and had exactly the same spacer but with the right machine radii. Rather than return it, I changed the spacers to bring my project back together.

Ideal for replacing LS or replacing Silverado from 6.0 to 4L80E.

Today I received a flexplate. It looks good, has a gasket and comes with longer screws for proper installation. Choosing flexible panels can be confusing. I needed this one as I have a 5.3 bolted to a 4L60E. The flexplate on models 5.3 through 4L60E is convex and has a 3-bolt configuration. This will not properly match a 4L80E torque converter due to the spacing, and the 80E torque converter is a 6 bolt setup.

PERFECT FIT!: Transmission & Transmission

PERFECT FIT. High quality. Works perfectly in gmc sierra 2500hd VORTEC 6.0 2001. Mine was cracked in the middle of the mounting holes, storing new compares to a brand new used truck. I would buy it again with great pleasure. good part. Comes with a pre-installed gasket and 6 bolts (not needed in my truck) if required for your vehicle. The labor costs more than the part. Be ready to decline the transfer. This is NOT a backyard Saturday job for most guys, FYI.

That's why they call it the FLEX disk

Error loading media. First the installation - the spacer is used on short crankshaft ls engines, which were almost all before 2000. This is perfect for my 2003 lq4 6.0 with 4l80e. I didn't need a spacer as the old spacer was still on the crankshaft. If your grip had a spacer, use the old one or put this on. This gasket will not somehow couple this torque converter flex plate to any other bolt pattern like th350 and give it 1 star for not reading or researching the description, irresponsible and
