The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because I thought it was pure black. I used a black stallion last year and THIS stuff is BLACK. Moms make up about 75% of what they think is laundry. Fantastic for lining or mixing washes as he says. Soaks in wonderfully. But if you're used to REAL black, it will never appear saturated enough and also takes some getting used to. I will buy this again and use it for lining, blending washes and cool grays. But I save what I want, as black as possible, for a black stallion. I'm a professional tattoo artist based out of Portland, Oregon. Only two years as a licensed artist here so take my opinion what you will! I only had a few tattoos with this mascara. Here are some of them. Did one today that had some black on it which was supposed to be tough. I made it dark and it was smooth and consistent, but it definitely didn't look like the dark void I like.
