Review on 👗 Vintage Capshoulder Dresses for Women: MUXXN Women's 1950S Clothing Collection by Billy Dotie

I ordered this dress for a wedding in upstate New York in January (cool gray I think) and wanted something versatile, elegant but not revealing. I ordered Bordeaux and Blue. Breakdown: Size - I have a 36" waist, 38 D/DD, wear Torrid 14 jeans and ordered XXL based on the size chart. The size fits right. Fit - perfect. Enough space in the chest, well-fitting waist. I'm a bit long in the torso and the seam at the waist is actually pretty close to my natural waist (that never happens!) Length - I'm 5ft 8.5" and I hate short skirts. It hits the sweet spot just below the knee. The material is stretch polyester with a slight sheen. Cute mesh overlay petticoat at the hem. Stretching is the key to comfort here. Awesome.Color - Burgundy deep cherry red, not dark at all. Blue is a dark blue, darker or lighter depending on the ambient light. Condition upon arrival - crumpled. Let's face it, it came in a box via UPS. Anyone who expects it to be wearable immediately has unrealistic expectations. Nothing that a little ironing on the wrong side wouldn't fix. Washing - Hand wash or dry clean recommended. Haven't gotten far enough to give an opinion. This dress is really great. Especially if you love vintage. I prefer not to add a petticoat, but there is enough fabric for that. For the wedding I will choose red, but I can also leave blue. I can see this outfit up or down by adding cardigans, belts and heels for versatility (navy could be making its office debut very soon with a cardigan, brown boots and a chunky belt!) Buy it now!
