Review on Jabra Link EHS Adapter Polycom by Sin Gabriel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great with Jabra Pro 920 and Polycom SoundPoint IP 335 phone

Works great with my Polycom SoundPoint IP 335 phone Just one thing to know: The product photo is incorrect. The actual product has the 5-pin connector required to connect to a Polycom phone. Another reviewer posted photos of the actual product which are true to the truth. After you have connected the 5-pin plug to your phone and the modular jack to your Jabra wireless base (or any other headset), you need to change the configuration. Tell your phone what type of electronic handset switch you are going to use. The Polycom website has application notes that describe how to do this. This is Technical Bulletin 35150 entitled "Using the Electronic Hook Switch (EHS) with the Polycom SoundPoint IP and VVX 1500 Phones" that describes the changes to be made. You can do this locally on your phone without needing admin access, or if you manage the phone network you can update the XML configuration. I would post a link, but that's usually an issue in an Amazon review. If you do a google search for this document title, this will probably be the first match.
