Review on πŸ”₯ Tangser Silicone Iron Rest Pad: Heat Resistant Mat for Ironing Board - Multipurpose, Red by Carl Watkins

Too thin; not working

As a sewing enthusiast I use an iron all the time (more than a sewing machine) and my previous iron stand warped and became unusable. So silicone seemed like a good choice. I use a silicone glove to protect my hand when ironing a curved seam. I also use silicone utensils because they flex well and don't overheat. But I gave this iron stand a try when it arrived today, thinking that the little silicone ribs would protect my iron surface from overheating, even if the silicone base seems flimsy. I was wrong. Toes got hot. The base is warmed up. The surface has become too hot. Useless scrap.
