Made my day to get this blue iron support

Loved the color! Exactly what I was looking for to use on the counter next to my sewing machine with a small iron and matte wool.

Very handy for ironing accessories

I use a small iron for crafting and it was a regular size iron stand so I cut it off a bit. I work great on my craft table and keep my mini iron from tipping over.

Keep this iron table burn-free!

I've been wanting one of these iron protection pads for a long time. Finally bought one to use during a big quilting project. It does exactly what I expected - it protects my iron table from burns. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Doubtful

A very useful rug for my sewing workshop.

This mat is perfect for resting the iron safely while unfolding fabric on the ironing board. Instead of standing on it, you can also briefly put the iron in a horizontal position. A good addition to any ironing station.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Small Parts

Iron residue is not safe.

I bought this to put the iron on the table where I had the ironing mat. took the iron stand, the table surface was very, very hot, I was lucky it didn't start a fire. Won't be using it again.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • There are problems

Becomes very HOT and fills with hot water when steam is used.

I like the idea but it gets VERY HOT. If you use steam and lay the iron face down to smooth your clothes, it will fill with HOT water from the steam. I burned myself picking it up to empty it ๐Ÿ˜• I wouldn't put this on anything that isn't heat resistant. I was really hoping this would work, but for me. it is not.

  • Price
Cons
  • Expensive

Doesn't protect the surface from hot iron

I don't know if I understood correctly what it can be used for but I thought it should be used to place a hot iron so it doesn't doesn't work ruining the surface underneath. That. I found it didn't protect my desk from the heat of the iron after picking it up after use and seeing discoloration of the finish on my desk in the shape of my iron.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Available for exchange

Too thin; not working

As a sewing enthusiast I use an iron all the time (more than a sewing machine) and my previous iron stand warped and became unusable. So silicone seemed like a good choice. I use a silicone glove to protect my hand when ironing a curved seam. I also use silicone utensils because they flex well and don't overheat. But I gave this iron stand a try when it arrived today, thinking that the little silicone ribs would protect my iron surface from overheating, even if the silicone base seems flimsy. I
