This is just what I need to style my chin length hair. By the way, this is good for shorter or longer hair. It's easy to use, has the right heat and air settings, and does its job well. The only thing I don't like about it, and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that the switch is difficult to operate with one hand. That means I want to be able to change the settings while my hair is curling around it, which means I have to do it with the hand holding the pencil. Sometimes I can, but often I have to flip my hair up and pull the styler down where I can see better to effectively change the setting. When I use it, the knob seems to have loosened a bit, so maybe this problem will resolve itself in a few months. But for now, it's resistant to changing settings on the fly.
