Stays flatter than most belts. I wouldn't say it's really flat as it's still visible under any knit top, but it's just less visible than a regular buckle. Considering it's just stretchable with a simple plastic clasp, I find this exceptionally overpriced. If you sew at all (requires very limited knowledge), you can buy plastic pieces and elastics from a fabric store and make them for a lot less money. If you have the time and inclination, this might help. Very simply produced. "Stealth-no-show" is the marketing hype for this stretchy belt.
