I ordered size 2 but received size 2.5. I don't have to worry as they still fit and I think they will last my son a little longer. They are very well made and do not let water through to a reasonable depth. They are easy to attach if you don't use hook loops. My son doesn't like rubber boots, and in the fall where I live, it often rains before the snow. These mid-size running shoes are a good compromise between warmth, water resistance and a "sneaker" feel. My son says they have a really good grip too. Reasonable price and a very happy son so I easily give 5 stars. They are made so I'm sure they will last at least 2 fall seasons as I bought a slightly larger size.
