Use this old monitor with DVI input
adapter excellent quality I am very satisfied! If you have an (old) monitor with a DVI input, you probably need one of these to connect your new laptop. The HDMI port on the laptop is the one you want to connect USB devices to and it doesn't fit. The new monitors don't have DVI, so find out what you need before ordering. Make sure your computer "extends" the display and you have twice the workspace - such a relief!
