no iron and steam iron

I have never used a steam iron. I know that when I travel when I need to get dressed, I hang my shirt up in the hotel bathroom upon arrival. Take a hot shower later and she'll be less wrinkled. At home I took out the ironing board and ironed shirts and pants. I thought it looked a lot easier than an iron and it is. To do this, fill a small cup with water at the back (I used distilled water), place the comb in front, insert it and steam. First I made a shirt that hung. Not much wrinkled but needs ironing. I followed the connection instructions and then let it warm up before hitting the steam button. When I pressed the button, there was a terrible sound and a cloud of smoke poured forward. Then it started to float. Did it sound like he was trying to push water through and dust or something else had collected and burned? After that first puff it was just steam. It works, to a certain extent. I used about half the "load" water in the water bath. Steamed, pulled, steamed, pulled, and the less crumpled bits looked better. It won't smooth out creases on a badly wrinkled shirt, some things still need ironing, but it was quicker and easier than ironing, so for something that needs a little help it'll be fine. a good product. When I was done, I took it off and then removed the water tank. It's easy to save. As distilled water is recommended I don't know if it's safe to travel with. You might be able to leave the water in a container or even carry around a small bottle of distilled water, but I plan to use it at home as a supplement to my iron when I'm in a hurry and only need a little touch. high.
