This is an atypical color wheel used as a guide for color mixing. It won't tell you what color you'll get if you add other colors to the paint, white or black like a typical color wheel does. This can be useful as a guide for learning color theory or choosing a color palette to use, but to say this is for color mixing would be misleading. I was trying to replace my old standard color wheel that I messed up with paint splatters. I am very happy with this steering wheel. Additionally, the back of this wheel, showing tones and hues, is almost indistinguishable on cooler colors, making it look like a continuous column of one color. It's not worth returning, so I'll just keep it for myself and buy a different kind somewhere else. In terms of quality, this wheel is made from fairly durable cardboard with a stain-resistant coating, so that's not an issue.
