I imagine they could save your ass from pretty much anything you accidentally pick up while cruising around town on your two Freedom Wheels. To be honest, this is a very affordable lightweight fender option that doesn't add any weight or bulk to your bike and is easy to remove if you don't want to put it on in inclement weather. They feel very sturdy as long as you don't flex them back and forth too much when trying to fold them under a seat or stuff them in a bag. Get one and stop being the guy with a black streak of nasty street dirt on your butt when you get where you're going.
