Description of 🚲 Smartass Bicycle Rain Fender - Ass Savers for Enhanced Performance

The Ass Saver - a light weight emergency fender that sits quietly and almost invisible under your saddle, ready to deploy whenever the streets get wet. Proven and tested in the field, it's a simple solution to the annoying brown stripe down the back of your pants. Compatible with almost every standard rail saddle thanks to our new patent pending attachment system. When not in use, it can be folded up and stored underneath your seat, ready to be deployed the next time you are caught out in a shower. Whether you're urban shredding, winter training or just prefer to keep your behind unsoiled, the SmartAss is your new best friend.

Sport racing seat, see elsewhere

Tried to cut out, modify folds, look at zip ties; Nothing works to mount this to a Specialized Body Geometry Power 143mm saddle. I think it would help if it could be securely fastened, but it really isn't.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

Does the job on the bike

A roadie friend: Discreetly protects your rear end from getting wet on those questionable days when light rain is a possibility but you don't want to deal with heavy, ugly, bulky fenders. It doesn't help much in heavy rain and nobody in your slipstream. Quickly and easily squeeze into the saddle rails and you're done.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Reliable

good low price good for accessory

Pros: good low price, well made, durable, just looks good, arrived on time if not sooner, attaches well under seat, works well in a downpour, but cons : may not be long enough, do not store under my seat unless I want to deform it permanently, sometimes not perfectly centered, remove, store, fix, repeat operation.

Safely saved mine.

I live in a mostly dry area, but I've been traveling and had to get out in the rain. I ordered one of these and installed it in just a few minutes. It worked well for me to keep my bum dry during a very wet ride. This is enough to keep the rooster's tail from touching you and most importantly, to keep your suede dry. It was a bit difficult to take it off because the plastic is quite hard, but I'd rather put up with it than have it fall out while driving. Not the best permanent solution, but a…

Transparent version has a white center section

The 'transparent' version (actually translucent) is not completely transparent but has a large white section in the center with installation instructions printed on it. If you don't look closely, it blends into the white background of the product image. This renders the transparent version meaningless. I've been using them for a while. They're effective at keeping mud out of your buttocks, but not your back - not a big deal if you're wearing a coat or waterproof pack. Not a substitute for a…

That's the deal. at sports

SAVE ASS ALL DAY What's up? If you PLAN to ride in the rain this may not be for you. If you get caught in the rain, this thing will save your ass. Here's the deal: 1. It weighs nothing.2. It folds under the seat when not in use.3. If it starts raining while you're driving, keep driving, pull this bitch out from under the seat, buckle her up, she STAYS IN POINTS and guess what? SAVE YOUR ASS. For light rain, small puddles, going outside after rain, this thing is money.

  • Weight

Save Your Ass On Fenders

Close your eyes and picture it. Just wake up to drive and realize it rained during the night, wife and kids are still asleep and you want to drive but don't want to get your bum/back wet. Put on this $15 fender and ride without worrying about a skunk's tail catching on your pretty jersey. I used it for the first time this morning, it was raining lightly and the streets were wet from the overnight rain. My back was DRY BONE. I repeat - DRY BONE after a 30 mile break with two other buddies. They…

and it fits snugly and securely under the seat

I had high hopes for this fender. The simple design is really ingenious and can be easily and securely mounted under the seat. However, that does little to prevent a wet butt. It's certainly better than nothing, but a wet ass is a wet ass. Because this fender is so short and also so high above the rear wheel, it only covers a small area. Anything outside of that small area will still get nice and wet. I have attached a photo of the back of my pants after driving less than 2 miles on wet…

Save Your Ass From Mother Nature

Ass rescuers do exactly what they say. they save your ass. They save your ass from the mud, they save your ass from the mud, they save your ass from the rain. I imagine they could save your ass from pretty much anything you accidentally pick up while cruising around town on your two Freedom Wheels. To be honest, this is a very affordable lightweight fender option that doesn't add any weight or bulk to your bike and is easy to remove if you don't want to put it on in inclement weather. They feel
